Kenwood Sauvignon Blanc, 2001

*** (3-Stars)

Origin: Sonoma County, California

Type of wine: Dry white wine made from Sauvignon Blanc grapes

Try it with: Good aperitif wine, bread, cheese, seafood, white-sauce pasta dishes

A solid representative Sauvignon Blanc. If you’ve never tried SauvBlanc before, this is perfect for first-timers. The wine is a light, bright gold color with citrus and mineral scents. There are also some grassy aromas lurking about. In the mouth, the Kenwood is quite crisp, with lime flavors and a hint of creaminess. It is a medium-bodied wine that is well balanced. This is an easy-drinking Sauvignon Blanc that represents very good value.
