Spain is well known for its tasty value priced red wines and bubbly (Cava). There are also some very good value whites. The Penedès region in Catalonia is one place to look for good white wine at great prices. Can Feixes Blanc Seleccio reminds me of a lime spritzer crisp, refreshing and great with food. This straw colored wine is full of fresh springtime aromas of citrus, fresh-cut grass and minerals. In the mouth it is light bodied with well-balanced crispness. Flavors follow the scents in the glass. Can Feixes has a nice, fresh finish, which makes it affable with a range of dishes. This wine made me crave seafood and a second glass.
