A more complex version of the easy-drinking Beaujolais Nouveau. This wine is deep cherry red in color with ripe cherry and red-berry jam aromas. In the mouth it behaves like a white wine light-bodied and very crisp with flavors of cherry and a hint of citrus. Its very drinkable alone, but shines when paired with pub/bistro food such as pommes frites or sausage. Although it doesnt represent an outstanding value, its a nice change of pace, if youre hankering for something different.
